The Alabama A&M University men’s tennis team was defeated by Lipscomb University 5-2 on Sunday at the Ensworth Tennis Center in Nashville. Lipscomb, now with a 3-1 record, secured the doubles point by winning matches at both the No. 1 and No. 3 positions.

Alabama A&M managed to earn points in singles play. Goran Krivokapic claimed a win at No. 6 by default, while Tasso Moreira defeated Alexander Vlahos 6-4, 6-3 at the No. 3 spot. Despite these efforts, Lipscomb took victories in singles matches at No. 1, No. 2, No. 4, and No. 5 to secure the overall win.

The Bulldogs are currently seeking their first win of the season and hold an overall record of 0-4.

Alabama A&M is scheduled to return to competition on Saturday, February 14 against Georgia State at the GSU Clarkston Tennis Complex, with first serve set for 10 a.m.
