Members of the Marching Maroon and White Band of Alabama A&M University provided entertainment for fans and supporters following a check presentation to Band Director Carlton Wright on The Quad Friday, August 19.  —- (PHOTOS by J. Saintjones)

The presentation by Randy Farr, representing Cricket Wireless, included a check for $23,000 to support scholarships and underscores the dynamic band’s upcoming performance in the Battle of the Bands competition scheduled in Houston, Texas, beginning Saturday, August 27.
