Coach Tommy Tuberville, U.S. Senator from Alabama, published a series of posts on his social media account addressing themes of faith, patriotism, veterans’ affairs, and the U.S. Constitution.
On September 16, 2025, Tuberville referenced the late Charlie Kirk in a post stating: “Our country was built on family, faith, and freedom. Charlie peacefully fought for his Christian faith every day – and they killed him for it. We need more PATRIOTS like Charlie Kirk to step up. @JesseKellyDC, @TheFirstonTV https://t.co/6QKXHRCd5a”. The statement refers to Charlie Kirk’s advocacy for Christian values and suggests that his death was connected to his activism.
Later that day, Tuberville expressed gratitude towards the Secretary of Veterans Affairs by posting: “Thank you, @SecVetAffairs, for DELIVERING for our veterans. https://t.co/18M2eKPobX” on September 16, 2025.
The following morning on September 17, 2025—Constitution Day—Tuberville marked the anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution with a post stating: “On September 17, 1787, the U.S. Constitution was signed, forming the greatest system of government the world has ever seen. 238 years later, it stands stronger than ever, despite attacks from the Radical Left. I will ALWAYS stand for and protect our great Constitution. https://t.co/6yo31wwtvn”.
Tuberville is known as a former college football coach who began serving in the Senate in January 2021 after defeating incumbent Doug Jones in Alabama’s 2020 election.
