Coach Tommy Tuberville, U.S. Senator from Alabama, posted a series of statements on his social media account between November 4 and November 5, 2025, addressing issues related to the federal government shutdown, National Veterans Small Business Week, and an upcoming event in Auburn.
On November 4, Tuberville commented on the impact of the ongoing government shutdown on transportation security employees. He wrote, “While Democrats twiddle their thumbs, TSA and air traffic control agents are facing the consequences of the shutdown. Maybe it’s time we get them out from underneath the federal government.”
The following day, in recognition of National Veterans Small Business Week, Tuberville acknowledged a local veteran’s service. On November 5 he stated, “This National Veterans Small Business Week, join me in thanking Jeremy Odom of Thomasville for his service in the U.S. Army.”
Later that same day, Tuberville referenced conservative commentator Charlie Kirk and previewed his participation at an event in Auburn alongside Benny Johnson, Lara Trump, and Eric Trump. He posted on November 5: “No one can replace Charlie Kirk. But if we all do our part, we can keep moving the ball down the field. Looking forward to joining @BennyJohnson, @LaraLeaTrump, and @EricTrump tonight for a PACKED HOUSE in Auburn. War Eagle.”
Tuberville has been active in national discussions regarding government operations and veterans’ affairs during his tenure as senator.
