Coach Tommy Tuberville, U.S. Senator from Alabama, posted a series of tweets on July 22, 2025, highlighting legislative initiatives and recent interactions with former President Donald Trump.

In a tweet at 13:44 UTC, Tuberville announced a new legislative effort with another senator: “Good news… @SenMikeLee and I have a bill for that.” Ten minutes later, he followed up with an encouraging statement: “Let’s get it done.”

Later the same day at 14:30 UTC, Tuberville recounted a recent meeting with Donald Trump. He wrote: “When President Trump had us over for dinner on Friday, he was recapping some of the administration’s wins over the past 6 months. The list was so long that our dinner got cold. And he’s just getting started. “

Tuberville has served as Alabama’s junior senator since January 2021 after winning election in November 2020. Mike Lee, referenced in the first tweet, is the senior U.S. Senator from Utah known for his work on conservative legislative issues.

Donald Trump began his second term as president in January 2025 following his victory in the 2024 presidential election.
