Coach Tommy Tuberville, U.S. Senator from Alabama, posted a series of statements on his social media account between September 25 and 26, 2025, addressing topics ranging from a federal appointment to tributes for local educators and support for American farmers.
On September 25, Tuberville commented on the appointment of Ben Carson as National Advisor for Nutrition, Health, and Housing. He wrote: “Nobody better suited to serve as National Advisor for Nutrition, Health, and Housing than a world-renowned Neurosurgeon and former HUD Secretary. Congratulations @RealBenCarson.”
Later that day, Tuberville paid tribute to Tom Walker for his commitment to educating Alabamians about America’s founding history. He stated: “Tom Walker had an unwavering dedication to educating Alabamians on America’s founding history. Few people loved our country more. I was honored to have visited American Village a few weeks ago to host a Veterans’ Affairs Committee hearing. Tom will be deeply missed. Please join” (September 25).
On September 26, Tuberville expressed gratitude toward President Biden regarding agricultural policy: “Thank you, @POTUS, for making sure our farmers have the support they need to keep putting food on our tables.”
Ben Carson previously served as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under President Donald Trump and is known internationally for his work in neurosurgery.
The American Village is an educational center in Alabama dedicated to teaching students about American history through immersive experiences.
Federal support programs for farmers are periodically updated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture in coordination with the White House; these efforts aim to stabilize food production and rural economies during periods of economic uncertainty.
