Coach Tommy Tuberville, U.S. Senator from Alabama, made several statements on his X (formerly Twitter) account on September 24 and 25, 2025. The posts addressed issues ranging from foreign aid to veterans’ healthcare and immigration policy.
On September 24, Tuberville expressed opposition to sending funds overseas, stating: “Yes. We must stop sending money to GLOBALISTS who hate America.”
Later the same day, he highlighted challenges faced by military veterans regarding hearing health. He wrote: “Hearing loss and tinnitus are among the most common service connected disabilities our veterans face. Allowing veterans to access over-the-counter hearing aids is a simple way to make a HUGE difference for our great veterans.” Hearing loss and tinnitus have been widely recognized as prevalent disabilities among U.S. veterans due to exposure to loud noises during service.
On September 25, Tuberville addressed immigration policy with another post: “Illegal aliens don’t deserve a DIME of taxpayer money. NO HEALTHCARE FOR ILLEGALS.” Debates about healthcare access for undocumented immigrants have been ongoing in Congress and across state legislatures.
Tuberville has previously advocated for policies supporting military personnel and restricting federal spending abroad or on unauthorized immigrants.
