Coach Tommy Tuberville, a United States Senator from Alabama, recently posted a series of tweets addressing federal disaster relief for farmers, the passage of new legislation impacting Alabamians, and immigration policy. The statements highlight his perspectives on recent government actions and legislative developments.
On July 10, 2025, Tuberville commented on the federal response to natural disasters affecting farmers. He wrote: “While our farmers were devastated by severe weather and natural disasters over recent years, the Biden admin sat on their hands and watched. But there is a new sheriff in town. Thanks to @POTUS’s and @SecRollins’s hard work, @USDA is now accepting applications for disaster”.
Later that day, Tuberville expressed support for newly passed legislation in another tweet dated July 10, 2025: “The Big Beautiful Bill is a Big Beautiful WIN for Alabamians. No Tax on Tips. No Tax on Overtime. No Tax on Social Security. Kicks illegals OFF Medicaid. Eliminates waste, fraud, and abuse. Defunds Planned Parenthood. Invests BILLIONS into our border and national security.”
In a third post from July 10, 2025, Tuberville thanked Secretary Kennedy for policy changes regarding public spending: “Thank you @SecKennedy for putting Americans FIRST. No more tax dollars for illegal aliens.”
Secretary Rollins currently serves as Secretary of Agriculture under President Biden’s administration.
