Coach Tommy Tuberville, U.S. Senator from Alabama, posted a series of messages on social media in mid-September 2025 addressing topics ranging from the anniversary of the September 11th attacks to support for veterans and law enforcement.
On September 12, 2025, Tuberville encouraged residents in his state to commemorate the events of September 11 by visiting a traveling exhibit. He wrote, “As our nation remembers the 24th anniversary of the horrific September 11th attacks, I encourage every Alabamian in the Opelika area to visit the Tunnel to Towers 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit this weekend.”
The following day, Tuberville expressed gratitude toward law enforcement involved in an ongoing case. On September 13, he stated, “Thank you to all federal and local officers for their continued work to bring justice to the Kirk family. Justice will be served.”
Later that evening, Tuberville announced new legislative efforts aimed at supporting military veterans. In a post dated September 13, he said, “Proud to introduce the Veterans National Traumatic Brain Injury Act to put our veterans FIRST.”
Tuberville has previously sponsored or supported legislation related to veteran health care and has made public statements honoring first responders and victims of national tragedies. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s mobile exhibit travels across the United States each year as part of educational outreach commemorating those lost on September 11.
