Coach Tommy Tuberville, a U.S. Senator from Alabama, recently shared his views on political and economic developments through a series of posts on social media. His statements addressed the anniversary of an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, called for the removal of Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, and urged Senate action on fiscal policy.

On July 13, 2025, Tuberville marked the one-year anniversary of the attempted assassination of former President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania. In his post he stated: “One year ago, we witnessed the assassination attempt on President Trump’s life in Butler, PA. Rather than running and hiding, President Trump fought back against the radical communists ten times harder and led the Great American Comeback to save our country. God bless Donald”.

Later that day, Tuberville made a direct statement regarding monetary policy leadership by posting: “Today’s a great day to fire Jerome Powell.” This comment was published at 13:00 UTC.

In another post later in the afternoon, Tuberville addressed legislative priorities for Congress: “This week, the Senate MUST pass President Trump’s rescissions package and send BILLIONS back to our taxpayers.” The message called for prompt Senate action on fiscal measures backed by former President Trump.

Coach Tommy Tuberville is known for his outspoken support of Donald Trump and conservative fiscal policies. He has frequently used social media platforms to advocate for positions aligned with Trump’s agenda.
