Coach Tommy Tuberville, U.S. Senator from Alabama, has recently made several statements on social media regarding public safety in Washington D.C., student visa policies, and Federal Reserve leadership.

On August 23, 2025, Tuberville expressed support for former President Donald Trump’s efforts in the nation’s capital. He wrote, “President Trump is MAKING D.C. SAFE AGAIN. But don’t take my word for it: https://t.co/xxpCPq7Jcv”.

Later that same day, Tuberville addressed issues related to student visas and national policy. He stated, “If you hate our country and break our laws, you shouldn’t be allowed to study at our universities. I’m proud to have introduced the Student Visa Integrity Act and I am grateful that @POTUS and @SecRubio are FIXING our broken visa system. https://t.co/GcRvm3GchC”. The Student Visa Integrity Act is a legislative proposal aimed at tightening requirements for foreign students studying in the United States.

On August 24, 2025, Tuberville commented on Federal Reserve leadership by posting “Today’s a great day to fire Jerome Powell.”, referring to the current Chair of the Federal Reserve.

Tuberville has been an outspoken figure on issues relating to immigration enforcement and government accountability during his tenure in the Senate. His remarks come amid ongoing debates about campus security and federal economic policy.
