Athens recently issued the following announcement.
Due to social distancing recommendations by the State of Alabama, the March 17th City of Athens Planning Commission will be live streamed. Interested citizens are encouraged to participate online instead of coming to the meeting. A phone number will be given out during the meeting for citizens to call in with questions/comments at the appropriate time during the meeting.
