Carrying on the Normalite Tradition of Productive Leadership
The Alabama A&M University Alumni Association, Inc., has announced its new leadership for the next two years. On Saturday, August 8, Mary Jones Moore ’83, of Harvest, Ala., replaced Albert Benifield, Jr., ’78, as the newly elected president of the more than 40,000-member body. Jones serves as a test engineer with KBR Government Solutions.
“I am pleased to take over the reign as president of the AAMU National Alumni Association,” Moore said. “First, as always, I ask God to please guide my footsteps. I look forward to working with all of the newly installed and appointed officers, as well as serving the alumni collectively. Together, we can make our Alma Mater proud, for I am truly a believer that Service is Sovereignty!”
