Huntsville Madison County Chamber issued the following announcement on Aug 18.
CFD Research Corporation, a provider of innovative solutions for the Aerospace & Defense, Biomedical & Life Sciences, and Energy & Materials industries, announced today it has ranked No. 4501 on Inc. Magazine’s annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. CFD Research’s impressive 71.3% three-year growth rate was high enough to recognize the company on the Inc. 5000 for the first time and is the culmination of the company’s successful transformation from a focus on R&D services to a provider of complementary solutions including technology development, engineering services, and product development for both industry and government.
“Our growth is a testament to our amazing employee owners who have adapted as our business has transformed into where we are today,” said Sameer Singhal, CFD Research president and CEO. “This ranking is further validation that we have taken the right strategic steps and have solidified our position in a very competitive market. It is truly an honor and an important milestone for our company to make the Inc. 5000 list for the first time and we are looking forward to climbing up the rankings in the future.”
The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.
“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 come from nearly every realm of business,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “From health and software to media and hospitality, the 2020 list proves that no matter the sector, incredible growth is based on the foundations of tenacity and opportunism.”
Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000. The top 500 companies are also being featured in the September issue of Inc., available on newsstands August 12.
