The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate Dale Whitney Strong, Dale Strong for Congress, refunded $1,000 to Linda J. Smith on Sept. 21, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution to political committees (other than Super PACs and Hybrid PACs) from an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Dale Strong for Congress has refunded $52,025 total since April 1.
