AAMU Student Secures Gaming Internship

AAMU grad student Omogbolade Ajayi has earned a coveted internship with a company behind some of the biggest names in the gaming world.

Ajayi is set to begin a nine-week internship with Activision Blizzard.

Activision Blizzard creates interactive gaming and entertainment experiences, immersing players in new, unimagined worlds and countless ways to play within them. Known for creating communities that bring people together with purpose and belonging, Activision Blizzard “makes every day more fun with games” from Candy Crush™, Call of Duty®, and World of Warcraft® to Overwatch®, Hearthstone®, and Diablo®.

Ajayi is working on his master's degree in computer science and is on the thesis track under advisor Dr. Ed Pearson. His research focuses on front-end development for virtual and augmented reality.

During his 9-week internship, Ajayi will be a front-end development Intern. He will relocate to Santa Monica, Calif., for the internship, which begins June 13.
