Kasper Elected to IWLCA Board of Directors

6

The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association has announced the election results for the 2022 IWLCA Board of Directors, and head coach Akasha Kasper of the women's lacrosse program has been elected as the Division II representative.

The IWLCA re-structed the Board of Directors in 2017 in order to balance divisional representation. The new structure includes the four officers comprising the Executive Committee, as well as three representatives from each NCAA Division and one representing the NAIA. Each member of the Board of Directors serves a three-year term of office.

Kasper is an active member of the Officials Recruitment and Development Committee and has served on the All-American Selections regional sub-committee. Kasper will be serving on the IWLCA Board of Directors for the first time.

In her first year with the Chargers, Kasper guided UAH to an undefeated record in regular season conference play to clinch the regular season conference title before leading the team to its third consecutive GSC championship.
