Men's Lacrosse Represented Well as PBC Announces Academic Awards

The Peach Belt Conference has announced its annual academic awards, and The University of Alabama in Huntsville was represented by numerous men's lacrosse student-athletes including five on the PBC Team of Academic Distinction presented by Barnes & Noble College and 25 on the PBC Presidential Honor Roll.

 

The PBC Team of Academic Distinction is modeled after the CoSIDA Academic All-America program, and to be eligible student-athletes must participate in half of his team's games while being a starter or significant contributor, achieve at least a 3.30 GPA, and complete at least one full academic year at his institution while also reaching sophomore athletic eligibility.

 

UAH is represented on the list by Jack Hendrickson (3.83/management), Trevor Redmond (3.55/management), Jake Schramm (3.33/marketing), Joseph Stuber (3.95/chemistry), and Conor Young (3.48/chemical engineering).

 

The Presidential Honor Roll honors all PBC student-athletes who had a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the academic year.

 

The honor roll has been divided into four groups: Presidential Scholars, Bronze Scholars, Silver Scholars and Gold Scholars. All student-athletes with a GPA from 3.0 to 3.24 are Presidential Scholars while Bronze Scholars are 3.25 to 3.49; Silver 3.50 to 3.74 and Gold Scholars are those with a 3.75 to 4.00.
