Chargers Edged Out by Tusculum 1-0 on Wednesday Afternoon

The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's soccer team was edged 1-0 in nonconference action at Tusculum on Wednesday afternoon. UAH drops to 1-3-2, while TU improves to 4-1-0.

 

After over 56 minutes of scoreless action to start Wednesday's affair, TU went in front with a goal by Taylor Youmans in the 57th minute.

 

Both sides went scoreless for the remainder of the contest to bring the game to its 1-0 final score.

 

Hailey Hicks played the full time in goal for the Chargers, collecting five saves in the loss and she navigated five Pioneer corner kicks.

 

UAH generated a slew of chances on Wednesday with 13 shots, including eight on goal, led by Endicott's four shots on target. The Chargers additionally accumulated eight corner kicks in the contest.

 

The Chargers return to conference play this weekend with a road matchup against West Alabama on Sunday. Kick-off in Livingston is set for 1 p.m.
