A&M RECEIVES HBCU NATIONAL CENTER FOUNDATION GRANT

The HBCU National Center Foundation awarded a total of $41,000 in intern support grants to the HBCUs whose presidents or chancellors participated in the four-day 2022 National HBCU Week Conference in Washington, D.C.

AAMU President Daniel K. Wims, along with several AAMU administrators and alumni, joined HBCU leaders at the  conference, sponsored by the White House Initiative on HBCUs.

The White House Initiative works closely with the Executive Office of the President on key Administration priorities related to advancing educational equity, excellence, and economic opportunity through HBCUs, in partnership with HBCU leaders, representatives, students, and alumni.  (Photo courtesy @DLewisEducate on Twitter)
