The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team scored multiple runs in each inning en route to a 28-6 midweek victory over the visiting Miles Golden Bears on Wednesday afternoon. UAH improved to 13-11 overall with the win, while Miles dropped to 10-11 on the year.

The Chargers had eight different players record multiple RBI games and used a combination of power and plate discipline to score a season-high run total. UAH recorded nine extra-base hits in the game and drew 10 hit-by-pitches and 7 walks.

At the plate, the Chargers were led by junior Hunter Tillman, who went 4-for-4 with a pair of walks, a double, and six RBI. Redshirt sophomore Colin Baeder provided five RBI of his own, going 3-for-3 with two doubles and a walk. Brennan Vasquez launched a three-run home run during a second inning barrage of nine runs.

On the mound, Landon Singley earned the win in a two inning appearance, allowing zero hits with three strikeouts. Overall, eight different Charger pitchers made appearances on the mound, while only surrendering two earned runs over the course of the game.

Next up, UAH travels to Rome, Georgia, to take on Shorter in a Gulf South Conference series. The series was originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday, but will now begin on Saturday at 1 p.m. with a doubleheader scheduled for Sunday beginning at noon.
