2022: 6 coaches at institution in Limestone County earned on average $19,450

Limestone County’s six coaches earned an average salary of $19,450 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the fifth lowest average salary per county earned by coaches at Alabama post-secondary schools during 2022.

Limestone County is home to just one post-secondary school which paid coaches during 2022.

Male coaches of men's teams received $19,331 on average in Limestone County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $19,568.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
