Former Lindsay Lane Christian Academy player and current Maryville Scots outfielder and utility player, Ava Whitmire, will compete in the NCAA D3 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number four seed against the first seeded Berry Vikings.

The first game is on Thursday, May 16.
