Congressman Dale W. Strong has expressed strong opposition to a recent court ruling that allows non-citizens to remain on Alabama's voter rolls. The United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama decided to grant injunctive relief, preventing Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen from removing illegal aliens from these rolls.
Strong criticized the Department of Justice for opposing state efforts to prevent non-citizens from voting. "Any non-citizen found voting in a federal election should be prioritized for deportation," he stated. He described the court's decision as part of what he sees as the Biden-Harris Administration's ongoing campaign against law enforcement.
The congressman also highlighted congressional Democrats' blocking of the SAVE Act, which mandates proof of citizenship when registering to vote. He further criticized Vice President Kamala Harris, referring to her role as Border Czar and linking it to what he called "the worst border crisis in our nation’s history."
Strong concluded by urging Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to bring the SAVE Act to a vote, emphasizing public frustration with current policies: "The American people are tired of the double talk... If the Democrats really believe in securing this election, Chuck Schumer must bring it to a vote immediately and end this madness."
