U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) has criticized the Biden administration and the Federal Bureau of Investigation following reports that his phone was surveilled in 2023 as part of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigation related to January 6th and former President Donald Trump.
“I was just shocked to learn during an FBI briefing that Jack Smith narc’d on myself and seven other Senators during his made-up January 6th probe into President Trump,” said Senator Tuberville. “When I ran for Senate, I expected that countries like China, North Korea, or Russia would go after me. But I never expected it would be my own country under Joe Biden tapping my phone. Make no mistake: Joe Biden was surveilling the phones of U.S. Senators to try to punish his opponent, President Donald Trump. It’s an absolute disgrace—and someone needs to go to jail.”
Tuberville discussed these allegations further in media appearances on Fox Business’s “Kudlow” and “Bannon’s War Room.”
Senator Tuberville represents Alabama in the United States Senate and serves on several committees, including Armed Services, Agriculture, Veterans’ Affairs, Health, Education, Labor & Pensions (HELP), and Aging.
