UAH and AUM Finish in Scoreless Tie on Sunday

The University of Alabama in Huntsville women’s soccer team concluded Sunday’s contest with a 0-0 tie at Auburn Montgomery in Gulf South Conference action. UAH’s record now stands at 3-6-4 (2-4-3 GSC), while AUM moves to 2-8-1 (2-5-1 GSC).
 
Both sides generated their most chances in the first as UAH had two shots on goal while AUM notched three.
 
The Chargers had their strongest opportunities in the 16th minute with both Jayla Gillespie and Carmen Endicott putting shots on net.
 
However, the Chargers and Warhawks would go scoreless in the second half to end the game tied 0-0, with UAH’s Morgan Snyder recording the only shot on goal in the half in the 73rd minute.
 
Adriana Wright played the full time in goal for the Chargers, notching three saves in the shutout tie.
 
UAH is back in action with its final regular season home games of the 2022 season next weekend against West Georgia on Friday and Valdosta State on Sunday.
