Congressman Dale Strong has announced a key change in his team, promoting Ella Sullins to the position of Chief of Staff. Sullins has been part of Strong's office since he took office, serving as his Legislative Director. Her career on Capitol Hill began in Senator Richard Shelby’s office, where she progressed from intern to legislative assistant. She brings nearly seven years of experience from her work in Washington.

Sullins hails from Huntsville and is an alumna of Auburn University. Congressman Strong praised her commitment to Alabama, stating, “Ella’s career has been dedicated to the service of our great state. She is one of us – not only does she understand our community, but she also cares deeply about the success of Alabama. This makes her the perfect choice to be my Chief of Staff, and I look forward to what we will achieve in the days ahead.”

Strong also expressed gratitude towards Payne Griffin for his contributions, saying, “I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Payne Griffin for his service to my office and many years working on behalf of the State of Alabama. I wish him all the best in his future endeavors.” Griffin will continue as a Senior Advisor for another month to ensure a smooth transition.
